Their menu is a reflection of the rich diversity in Chinese cuisine, featuring a variety of options that range from comforting noodle soups to savory stir-fries and crispy fried rice.

One standout dish that you'll likely hear praised in many of the glowing reviews is the General Tso's Chicken. Perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the chicken is coated in a tangy, sweet sauce that brings just the right amount of heat. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for more, especially when paired with a bowl of jasmine rice.

For those looking for a bit of adventure, the Kung Pao Shrimp is another must-try. The shrimp are perfectly cooked, and the dish is packed with a perfect balance of peanuts, vegetables, and the bold flavor of chili peppers. It’s spicy, but in a way that’s enjoyable, not overpowering.

The Hot and Sour Soup is a fantastic starter if you’re in the mood for something hearty to begin your meal. The soup is both tangy and savory, with mushrooms and tofu adding a pleasant texture that complements the broth. It’s an ideal choice if you're craving something both refreshing and comforting.

But it’s not just the food that stands out; the service at Jade Garden is equally impressive. The staff is attentive and friendly, often going the extra mile to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of excellent. Many of the dishes at Jade Garden are made with high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. The chefs clearly pay attention to detail, ensuring that each dish is both visually appealing and full of flavor. For example, the Mongolian Beef is cooked to perfection, with the right balance of sweet and savory sauce, tender beef, and fresh green onions that give the dish a vibrant look.

Another highlight of the menu is the Egg Foo Young, a classic Chinese omelet that is perfectly fluffy and filled with delicious vegetables and your choice of meat. This dish is a fantastic option for those who want something light but filling at the same time.

We’ve been loyal to Jade Garden for years—even through a couple of ownership changes—and our latest visit reminded us why we keep coming back. The new team has leveled up the quality: every dish arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor, from the perfectly seasoned entrées to the crisp, not-too-greasy egg rolls. Service was just as friendly and attentive as ever; our server checked on us often without hovering and made sure refills landed before we had to ask. It’s great to see familiar warmth paired with noticeably upgraded food—Jade Garden continues to be our go-to spot in Missouri City for dependable, delicious Chinese comfort food.

Traditional family style Chinese restraunt. Started off with cashew shrimp with generous amount of candied cashews and shrimp, simply delectable over rice. However the peking duck is the star of this show. Crispy duck skin with tender meat pillowed by a soft bao, topped with fresh veggies with hoisin sauce. Took a friend to try this out for the first time and they loved it.

We frequently visit this restaurant for Cantonese cuisine, and we’re consistently impressed by the quality of their food. They offer an excellent lunch menu with very reasonable prices, and their family dinner set for 10 is a great value. While the dim sum plates are generous in size, they may not quite meet the traditional quality standards. Regardless, we highly recommend this restaurant for either lunch or dinner. The double lobster special dish is a must-try!

We stopped by Jade Garden for an early dinner around 4:25 PM on our way to the hotel. My wife wanted to try their dim sum, recommended by some posts we came across. The service was a little slow because dim sum service ends at 4:30 PM and only a few tables were occupied at the time. However, the food itself exceeded our expectations. We ordered six items, and the portion sizes were larger than anticipated. Everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the dim sum.
